September 27, 2023

On September 27, 2023, in commemoration of the death anniversary of its founder, the late Shri Surendra Nath Rastogi, the Prabha Rastogi Cancer Research Charitable Foundation (PRCRCF) inaugurated a noble initiative “Pranath Rasoi“. Priced at a nominal Rs.10, this initiative is designed to offer affordable, wholesome, and unlimited home-cooked meals to the public, ensuring that nutritious food is accessible to everyone. Moreover, Pranath Rasoi endeavors to impart the significance of consuming home-cooked meals and advocates against food wastage.

On its inaugural day, Pranath Rasoi successfully provided meals to 20 individuals, a number that continues to rise steadily. Currently, Pranath Rasoi operates using the kitchen and related resources of our dedicated volunteers and the financial support available with PRCRCF.

Pranath Rasoi aspires to extend its outreach to as many individuals as possible, aligning with its motto, “swasth bhojan, swasth jeevan” or “healthy food, healthy life.” We earnestly appeal to you to contribute generously, enabling us to sustain and expand our impactful initiative.
